Guitar Lessons Check List
Lessons Location:
Lessons are offered at my private house at 7 Browning Street, Grey Lynn. There is no Guitar Teacher signage displayed.
Children's Lesson Dates:
Children's dates are from week 1 of term 1 to week 10 of term 4.
There are no lessons during school holidays.
Adult Lesson Dates:
From 2nd monday of the year to the last friday before Xmas day. Adult lessons do not observe school holidays.
Lesson Times:
Children: 7.45 am to 8.45 am
3.15 pm to 7.00 pm
Adults: 9.00 am to 3.00 pm
7.00 pm to 9.30 pm
Lesson Days:
Mondays (except Statutory Holidays) and Tuesdays
Lessons durations:
20 minute lessons
30 minute lessons
45 minute lessons
60 minute lessons

Individual personal lessons
Parent and child combined lesson
Lesson materials
Some downloadable materials are free, some are not.
Downloaded sheet music and copyrighted music is charged for.
Preprinted materials are charged for.
Lesson Feedback
You are welcome to give direct feedback on your lessons at any time. You are also encouraged to offer any feedback that your child has at any time. I ask you twice a month for feedback and request suggestions about how to make lessons better for you or your child.
Lesson fees:
$20 per 20 minute lesson payable a month in advance on the 20th of the month
$30 per 30 minute lesson payable a month in advance on the 20th of the month
$45 per 45 minute lesson payable a month in advance on the 20th of the month
$60 per 60 minute lesson payable a month in advance on the 20th of the month
Fees are current GST zero rated.
Lesson attendance
You may attend your children's lesson.
Your children may attend yours.
You may bring a guest when you wish.
Payment methods
Cash payment by 20th of the month
Online Deposit to account 030255 0111722 00 by the 20th of the month
Automatic Payment to account 030255 0111722 00 by the 20th of the month
Negotiable cash cheque by the 20th of the month
PAYMENT NOTE
Non-negotiable cash cheques are required by the 13th of the month to enable cash availability by the 20th of the month,
Lateness
In the event of lateness the timetable will be maintained and only remaining time in your affected lesson will be available to you.
Lesson Ownership
Lessons are non-refundable. You own the lessons you purchase. You own the right to decide whether you attend your lesson or not. The guitar teacher is required to attend all lessons you purchase, whether you attend your lesson or not.
Absence
When you cannot make your lesson you may forgo the lesson and absorb the cost or send somebody else---a parent, sibling or friend---along in your place. If they don't have a guitar, they will be supplied with one.
Makeup Lesson
The full teaching schedule does not permit makeup lessons.
Guitar Teacher Absence
In this event, your affected lesson will be fully refunded.
Terms of Service
Full Terms of Service are emailed to you when you formally enrol.
