The purpose
of this beginner guitar lesson online course is to teach you
how to play the 21 basic chords in open position as
individual events and to train your "new" guitar
muscles to learn and perform basic chords without shifting.
These
lessons does not try to teach you how to change fluently,
from one chord to the next. That is another subject and booklet.
This beginner
lesson online lesson course teaches you the open position
chords that you are most likely going to be changing to and
changing from. With those chords established, then we can
look at changing between them.
Having
said that, when you follow these instructions and perform
these chords effectively you will find that you actually have
some ability to change chords.
Changing
chords is a slightly different exercise but the
common skill is the skill of holding a chord formation
in your muscles, whether or not your fingers are on the
fingerboard.
If you
are very new to guitar playing, I recommend that you consult
the free guitar
videos before you try playing these chords, as described.
For maximum,

I recommend that you use a metronome and a kitchen timer when
you learn these chords
